Our Story

Victoria & Grace began long before the first rail of clothing was ever hung.

It began with a friendship.

We met on our very first day of primary school, two little girls in Bristol who became inseparable almost instantly. We grew up side by side, through every stage of life, and somewhere along the way we shared a quiet dream: that one day we would build something of our own, together.

We always believed that clothing could be more than something you wear. It could carry confidence. It could tell a story. It could hold memories. We wanted to create a place rooted in timeless elegance, pieces that felt intentional, refined, and made for real women living real lives.

But more than anything, we wanted to build something lasting. Something that was truly ours.

In 1998, we finally gathered the courage to open our own little boutique, here in the city where our friendship began. There was never any question about what it would be called. It would carry both of our names.

Victoria & Grace.

In the early days, the shop was small. The rails were modest. Every order was wrapped by hand. We did everything ourselves, learning as we went, leaning on each other through every decision about fabrics, fit, and the women we hoped to dress.

We saw the late nights. We saw the doubts. We saw the breakthroughs.

While we were building a business, we were also building something we never expected: a boutique with a heart, made by two friends who simply refused to give up on each other.

As the years passed, Victoria & Grace grew. Our collections evolved. Our customers became a community. What began as a small dream slowly became a boutique known for its understated elegance and thoughtful design.

And through all of it, we stayed exactly what we had always been. Two best friends, side by side.

We challenged each other. We brought different perspectives. We honoured where we had come from while always looking at where we could go next. After 28 years of running this boutique together, the friendship that started it all is still the thing that holds it together.

For us, this is what we are most proud of. Not just the clothes, but the years, and the bond behind every single one.

Every collection holds a memory. Every piece carries a part of our journey. And every woman who wears them becomes part of our story too.

What began as the dream of two schoolgirls has become a lifetime spent doing what we love, together.

Victoria & Grace is not just a boutique. It is a friendship you can wear.

And after all these years, we are still here, still side by side, still choosing every piece with the same care we did on the very first day.

With love,
Victoria & Grace
